Unfurnished units contain stove, oven, and refrigerator.  Most (but not all) have washer/dryer included.  A few units have dishwashers.

Furnished units contain all of the furniture you would normally need (couches, chairs, tables, beds, etc.)  Washer/dryers and dishwashers are always included in addition to stove, oven, and refrigerator.
